Operation
The operator
pushes
down the
spring
loaded
ring and
strikes
the shank
with a
hammer. A
gauge at
the base
of the
Model 49
facilitates
accurate
placement
of the
impression,
thus only
accurate
and uniform
depths
are
obtained.
